Products
Coil Spring and Shock Sets
All Terrafirma Coil Springs have been designed to provide
approximately 2” of lift while carrying light, medium or heavy
loads. Minimal mechanical changes are required when lifting
by this amount.
Terrafirma does provide 2" spring spacers for greater
lift and significantly increased wheel travel if you need
it, and the parts required for geometry correction when you
go that tall.
Selecting the right springs for your Land Rover may require
some compromise. A 'heavy load' spring may ride too high and
too hard when unloaded, and may not be required if you don't
carry a lot of extra weight all of the time. Likewise, a 'light
load' spring that's comfortable and flexible will not achieve
the desired lift or carry the heavy loads associated with
expedition-equipped vehicles.
Our load carrying coil springs are progressive and variable.
This provides a combination of comfort and load carrying ability
in the same spring. Terrafirma coil springs are sold in matched
pairs: in many cases one spring is 10mm longer than the other.
The longer spring should always be fitted to the driver’s
side, exactly as Land Rover does it. You can use the detailed
spring descriptions by part number to help accurately fine
tune the spring requirements for your specific application,
or simply ask a British Pacific staffer what we think is best
for your use. We aren't on commission, so you'll always get
an honest assessment.
Springs hold
the truck up and set the ride height and quality: the shocks
dampen oscillations and are your suspension limiter. It's
important that they be matched with the springs you're using.
Terrafirma has shocks in several different ratings depending
on how you use your truck. TF supplies h/d shocks in standard
and 2" lift sizes. You'll also need shock spacers if
you're going with a 4" lift.

Steering Dampers
A tough twin-tube design allows for
a large volume of oil to run cooler and resist aeration. Low-pressure
nitrogen foam cell for increased performance. 50/50 valving
for equal damping lock to lock. 36mm piston, 54mm outer tube

Terrafirma Spring
Relocation Cones
Dislocation cones guide the springs
back to their proper position if they unseat with full suspension
articulation. Especially useful when using longer travel shocks
or lowered front shock turrets. The cones are often fitted
using our heavy duty shock turret securing rings (see below).
It is essential that TF505 spring retaining plates are used
to ensure the springs remain in place.

Terrafirma Heavy
Duty Coil Spring Retaining Plates
Coil springs can unseat from their mounts
if longer travel shocks are fitted, or at extreme articulation
angles. Heavy duty spring retaining plates are used to secure
the coil spring to the axle to make sure they relocate correctly
when the suspension compresses again. Stronger part than Genuine,
ideal for use with heavier springs.

Heavy Duty Front
Shock Towers
Tubular front shock turrets are much
stronger and less susceptible to rust out than stock, and
they also show off your shocks! Available in standard height
and lowered -2"(50mm), which allows more suspension drop with
standard shocks, as well as 2" taller, which are specifically
used with Terrafirma +5" (125mm) or Emu shocks.

Caster Corrected
Front Radius Arms
When you lift your truck more than 2"
the caster and pinion angles need to be corrected. If not,
the effect can be difficulty in holding a straight line on
the highway, a lack of self-centering of the steering, plus
excessive wear on the front driveshaft u-joints . We recommend
these 3 degree caster corrected radius arms to return the
steering and driveshaft to the correct geometry. These heavy
duty Terrafirma radius arms are designed to accept the 44mm
wide bushes that have been fitted from around 1992.

Cranked Rear Radius
Arms
When you lift your truck more than 2",
the rear radius arm to chassis bushes become strained. Suspension
drop can be restricted by the lack of movement in the bushing.
To relieve the strain and to improve suspension flex fit our
cranked rear radius arms. These Terrafirma radius arms are
made from super tough 1 3/8" diameter x 3/16" wall thickness
CDS tubing.

Lowered Rear Top
Shock Mounts
Your shocks are your suspension limiter.
If you want to continue to use stock length shocks, use these
with your 2" lift springs.
To avoid possible damage to the shocks it's advisable to fit
TF515 bump stop spacers.
Alternatively TF518 rear top shock mount relocation plates
can be used.
For a 4" lift, use the TF spring
spacers (see below), 2" longer shocks, plus these shock
extenders.

Bump Stop Spacers
Bump stop spacers raise the original
bump stops by 1" to help prevent larger tires from touching
the bodywork on full suspension compression.
They are also used in conjunction with lowered shock mounts
preventing the shocks from bottoming out.

Twin Shock Kit
Carrying a heavy load? Expedition and
fast off road vehicles benefit from fitting twin shocks since
it reduces shock stress and inherent heat build up. The Terrafirma
twin shock mount kit allows 2 shocks to run parallel with
each other using existing mounting points. They perform brilliantly
and also look superb.
IMPORTANT:
30mm wheel spacers may be required to prevent the inner edge
of the rear wheel or tyre from rubbing on the lower double
shock mount. This is predominantly the case with standard
Land Rover alloy wheels.

Spring Spacers
These Terrafirma heavy duty 2" (50mm)
anodized steel spacers bolt to the axle below the coil springs
to give additional suspension lift.
Add to the 2" lift TF or Emu springs and shocks for
4" of total lift.
Or to save money, add these to existing springs for 2"
lift. Great value!

30mm Wheel Spacers
Terrafirma 30mm aluminium billet wheel
spacers give an additional 60mm (2-3/8") track width
to Land Rover Defenders, Series 1 Discoverys and Range Rover
Classics. These provide increased steering lock when using
wider tires, as well as improving handling, cornering, and
stability on the trail. Aluminum wheel spacers do not effect
wheel balance like steel ones can, and please note these
quality wheel spacers include the important wheel location
spigot. Supplied with nuts, as a full set of four.
