For
the Range Rover II '95 - '02
|
|
Built for the tough conditions
of the Australian outback, 'Old Man Emu' was brought
to the US by British Pacific in 1991, and literally hundreds
of Rover owners have been thoroughly pleased with the
improvement in the ride and control over factory replacement
springs.

Finally! A proper Emu gas shock designed specifically
for the Range Rover series 2, '95-'02. Emu's are the perfect
match for our Emu coil spring conversion. Unlike the very
few other gas shocks available for this model, these are
built tough enough to handle the rigors of off roading, but
give that smooth highway ride Range Rover owners are looking
for. They come with urethane bushings, large shafts, mounting
loops and studs, and double walled steel tubes to guard against
rock damage.
Emu's feature low pressure nitrogen and matched
valve design that allows the springs to do the work, making
the highway ride more supple while providing better off road
articulation. Stiff high pressure shocks transmit a lot of
force to the frame and body: great for sports cars, not so
good for SUV's. We've been selling Emu's to Range Rover Classic
owners for 20 years to improve the highway ride quality and
for better control off road. Now for the first time Range
Rover 2 owners can experience that same improvement!
